La Batega is a trail running sports event in Planoles through the Sierra de Montgrony, which features several races of different distances: KV 4K, SHORT 10K, SPRINT 18K, TRAIL 27k.
Participation Conditions

Minimum age: 18 years old completed on the day of the race, except for the SHORT 10K. The minor runner must be accompanied by a legal guardian during the entire route. This legal guardian must obligatorily provide a signed certificate upon collecting the bib.

Registration: Having correctly completed the registration. The fact of registering implies the acceptance of these regulations by the participant.

Equipment: Each runner must carry the mandatory equipment requested by the organization, in addition to what they consider appropriate to withstand the mountain's own conditions.

It is necessary to present a photo ID to collect the bib.

Transferring the bib to another person is not allowed.
-
Participants must wear the bib at all times, placed on the front and always visible.

It cannot be cut, folded, covered, or modified.
Mandatory Equipment
TRAIL/SPRINT/KV:

Trail-type sports shoes that fully cover the foot.

Thermal or survival blanket (minimum 2 x 1.2 m).

Hydration system (minimum 0.5L).
-
Backpack or belt.
-
Mobile phone charged and switched on and not in airplane mode.

Windproof and breathable jacket with a hood.
-
Waterproof jacket (minimum 10,000 mm water column), Gore-Tex® type or similar, with heat-sealed seams. (In case of rain forecast).

Second thermal layer with long sleeves of at least 180 g. (In case of low temperatures).

Long or pirate tights. (In case of low temperatures).
-
Hat or tubular. (In case of low temperatures).
SHORT
-
Trail-type sports shoes that fully cover the foot.

Hydration system (minimum 0.25 l).
-
Mobile phone switched on and not in airplane mode.

Waterproof jacket (minimum 10,000 mm water column). (In case of rain forecast).
Insurance

The organization will have third-party liability insurance in force according to current regulations.

Participants must have minimum accident insurance that covers the activity.
-
Participants who do not have it must contract it at the time of registration.
Responsibilities

Participants accept the regulations and exempt the organizers from all responsibility in case of accident or material or bodily damage before, during, or after the competition.

Participants compete under their own free will. Participating in this event involves a risk of injury, which can be serious or even fatal.

Participants accept and assume this risk, understanding that they may suffer damage such as falls, health problems, illnesses, injuries caused by fauna or flora, or damage to equipment.

Participants have the obligation to progress safely at all times, being responsible for their actions.
Safety

The organization will place specialized staff at certain points of the route, with the function of ensuring the safety of the participants.

It is mandatory to follow their instructions.

Medical staff and ambulances will be available to intervene if necessary.

In case of adverse weather conditions or force majeure, the organization reserves the right to suspend, neutralize or modify the schedules and/or the route.

The registration fee will not be refunded.

The Race Direction can withdraw a runner if they consider that they have lost physical or technical capabilities to continue.
Start Control and Timing

Before the start, a control will be carried out to access the closed area with verification of the bibs.

All mandatory equipment will be checked. Participants who do not present the mandatory equipment will not be able to participate.

It is mandatory to correctly pass through all control points, including the start and the finish.
Aid Stations

There are different types of aid stations distributed along the route.
-
Hydration: There will be no single-use plastic cups. Each runner must carry their own container to drink.

It is each runner's responsibility to manage their aid station well, adapting to the distances and calculating needs well.
Weather

In case of adverse weather conditions or force majeure, the organization reserves the right to suspend, neutralize or modify schedules and/or routes.

The registration fee will not be refunded.
Dropouts

Voluntary: Except for injury, dropping out is only possible at a control point. If this is not accessible by vehicle, the runner must reach the nearest evacuation point on their own. It is forbidden to leave the route without notifying the organization.

Forced: The organization can temporarily stop or force a runner to drop out if it considers that their state endangers their physical integrity or their safety.
Image Rights

With the registration, all participants waive the use of their image rights and authorize the organization and its sponsors to freely use and publish any photograph or video recorded in the context of the race.
